My Story

Being a Hispanic Latino and not knowing the language of my culture can truly baffle people when they meet me. My parents always told me, “You don’t have to speak Spanish to be Mexican,” which I sometimes took as a pity trip. However, I’ve come to realize that my identity is shaped by more than just language.

As a person with a rich cultural background and a creative mindset, I see this as an opportunity to celebrate and glorify my heritage. By embracing my unique perspective, I can help others understand what it means to be Mexican-American and share the beauty of our daily lives.

I always loved making and decorating for partying in Mexico. It was always such an eye-opener for me because we can see that there is so much art and wonders beyond this culture that people just don't stop and take a look at it. I always use Mexico as a good source of creative use of ideas and imagination when it comes down to the community and people. Whenever I got into this field I felt like I could speak in different ways in creative design which can help me learn my culture even more and truly extend my skills in this field.
